1. What is the role of the team leader? Should teams always have leaders? When might it be reasonable for a team to purposely leave out the role of the team leader?
2. Suppose you are on a project team similar to the one in Question 5. One of the team members is very abrasive – using foul language and having a negative attitude – and is highly critical of the work of all the other team members, including you. This person also has an A (3.95) grade point average and wants to do the whole project alone and is willing to turn it in to the professor and share the credit with the whole team. The team is divided about how to respond to this offer, because this team member could possibly achieve a better grade on the project than the team. How should the team deal with this individual?
