Imperial China and Imperial Rome were two of the most influential empires in history, each leaving a lasting impact on their respective regions. The two societies had much in common, primarily a focus on centralization of power with an emperor at the head of each empire. Both societies also used public works projects to enhance infrastructure and invested heavily in military campaigns.

However, there were also considerable differences between the two cultures. Imperial China favored a decentralized system that granted autonomy to local leaders as long as loyalty was maintained toward the emperor, while Imperial Rome practiced centralized rule where all authority came from Rome itself. Imperial Chinese society focused mainly on family values, while Roman society was driven by politics and power struggles between individuals or groups within its hierarchy. Religion played a more significant role in Roman society than it did in China; while religion held some importance in Chinese culture, it was not considered essential to life like it was for Romans.

The goal of this position is to cultivate relationships with community organizations and build grassroots engagement by increasing the organizations visibility and program delivery. Additionally, this role was created in an effort to advance the organizations public stance for health and health policy issues.

The CEO of this organization attempts to create an ideal and unique image of what the organization can become and shares this vision with the leadership team. This mainly consists of discussion at quarterly leadership meetings. The CEO projects a positive and hopeful outlook in hopes of generating enthusiasm and excitement for the vision from the leadership team through the use of metaphors, symbols, positive language, and personal energy. The CEO has a tendency to focus on opportunities that health care changes present rather than the disciplinary actions for not following new guidelines.
