The purpose of this study is to assess the current academic performance and language acquisition needs of English Learners in a high school environment. Through the collection and analysis of data from multiple sources, a clear picture will be developed as to how we can best meet these student’s educational needs. Our data collection process will include longitudinal quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders within our district. This information will be used to identify any areas of inequity that may exist between English Learners and their peers in terms of access to resources or instructional support. Once identified, steps can then be taken to address these gaps.

Our mission is to ensure that all students have equitable access to effective education opportunities regardless of race or background so they can reach their full potential academically and thrive socially. We recognize that English Learners face unique challenges when it comes to learning a new language while also maintaining academic excellence; thus special attention must be given in order for them to succeed.

We believe that by collecting detailed data from multiple sources on an ongoing basis we can determine where there are disparities in resources or instruction which need addressing in order for us reach our goal. By using both quantitative surveys as well as qualitative interviews we hope to gain an accurate understanding of what interventions are necessary for these students at this time so they may benefit fully from our educational system now –and into the future.

By establishing a baseline through data collection & analysis we can develop meaningful strategies for closing any equity gaps that exist between English Learners & their peers based on their individual needs rather than making assumptions about what might work best overall.

Part I: INTRODUCTION TO THE STUDY Introduction The country is encountering a basic lack of medical care suppliers, a deficiency that is supposed to increment in the following five years, similarly as the biggest populace in our country’s set of experiences arrives at the age when expanded clinical consideration is essential (Pike, 2002). Staffing of emergency clinics, centers, and nursing homes is more basic than any time in recent memory as the enormous quantities of ‘people born after WW2’s start to understand the requirement for more continuous clinical mediation and long haul care. Interest in turning into a medical caretaker has disappeared as of late, presumably because of the historical bac
