Survey Design
A study by The Gallup Organization found employee beliefs and attitudes are critical to attaining a profitable
and productive workplace (Cascio, 2016, p. 35). For your current organization or one with which you are
familiar:
Assess how effectively your organization’s leadership and HR promote the employee beliefs and attitudes of a
productive workplace
Recommend two ways management and two ways HR can encourage a productive workplace and positive
organizational culture.
Design a survey to measure attitudes toward a topic related to crime or criminal justice. Make sure the survey is organized and formatted in a way that it looks nice and is easy to follow. Include the following:
A very brief introduction / overview of the survey
3 Demographic questions with response options (a. b. c. d. e. f. etc.)
3 Close-ended questions (yes/no or one word answers)
3 Likert scale questions (strongly disagree, disagree, agree, strong agree….. never, sometimes, often, daily…… not at all, somewhat, moderately, completely, etc.)
1 open-ended question (thought provoking question that cannot be answered with one or two words – do not start this question with “Do you” or “How many times” or “Where”)
At the end of the survey, specify whether you would administer this survey in-person, through the mail, over the phone, or by email. Then, state at least one advantage and one problem with your chosen method (see the Notes I emailed for help with this if needed).

The survey notes are specifically aimed for this assignment whereas the “Notes” doc are the courses notes. Command F certain terms to see if they are applicable to the assignment for safe measures.
