This is because they both directly impact how customers perceive a product or service and whether or not they will decide to make a purchase.
One way that organizations can ensure they are setting appropriate prices is by defining an acceptable range between which their pricing should be based on (Hernández et al., 2017). This “price window” helps create boundaries so that companies can avoid either overcharging or undercharging customers for their products/services. After establishing this range, organizations must then carefully consider what an appropriate initial price would be relative to competitive offerings in order to attract buyers’ attention (Doole & Lowe , 2018).
Finally, it’s also important for them communicate these pricing strategies effectively by utilizing marketing channels such as advertising and promotion campaigns in order gain visibility among potential buyers (Kohli et al., 2015). By following all three steps listed above companies can successfully introduce new products into markets without risking too many losses due to overpricing or failure due lack of awareness.
In summary, out of the three areas of the pricing process I believe setting an initial price within a reasonable range and then properly communicating it through marketing are essential components in order generate successful outcomes.
