March for Women’s rights and the Way to Support Gender Equality: The impact of violence against women on their psychological health
Violence against women is a pervasive and heartbreaking problem that continues to be an issue around the world despite increased efforts to raise awareness and support gender equality. Women suffer physical, psychological, economic, and social harm due to violence perpetrated by intimate partners or other persons in authority. The impact of this violence on their psychological health can be far-reaching and devastating.
Women who experience physical or sexual abuse may suffer from feelings of guilt, shame, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, suicidal ideation and self-harm behaviors (Walter et al., 2019). These effects can profoundly alter a woman’s sense of safety in the world; lead to long-term feelings of insecurity; cause difficulty trusting others; as well as disrupt her ability to form healthy relationships with family members, romantic partners or friends (Walter et al., 2019). In addition to these more direct impacts of physical abuse on mental health , research has also shown that exposure even indirect exposure such as hearing about someone else’s experiences – can result in poorer mental well being among women (Shaw et al., 2020).
The best way for people to show their support for gender equality is to participate in marches and protests related to women’s rights; donate money/volunteer time/participate in initiatives run by organizations like UN Women ; sign petitions which fight for better legislation towards ending Gender Based Violence(GBV); use social media platforms such as twitter & Instagram etc.. To draw attention towards GBV issues ; engage with your community by initiating dialogue amongst coworkers /friends about gender inequality . These are just some simple steps one could take but it goes without saying that any small action taken push us closer towards greater inclusion & ultimately a society free from violence against all genders.(UN Women 2021 )
regards to the osmosis of pieces into lumps. Mill operator recognizes pieces and lumps of data, the differentiation being that a piece is comprised of various pieces of data. It is fascinating to take note of that while there is a limited ability to recall lumps of data, how much pieces in every one of those lumps can change broadly (Miller, 1956). Anyway it’s anything but a straightforward instance of having the memorable option huge pieces right away, somewhat that as each piece turns out to be more natural, it very well may be acclimatized into a lump, which is then recollected itself. Recoding is the interaction by which individual pieces are ‘recoded’ and allocated to lumps. Consequently the ends that can be drawn from Miller’s unique work is that, while there is an acknowledged breaking point to the quantity of pieces of data that can be put away in prompt (present moment) memory, how much data inside every one of those lumps can be very high, without unfavorably influencing the review of similar number
